Livin' It Up Law School Style

The First Year, They Scare You To Death;
The Second Year, They Work You To Death;
The Third Year, They Bore You To Death.

Glimpses into the oh-so-exciting life of a 3rd year student at LSU Law School

My grandmother died overnight last night. She was 87. We were really close. I already miss her a lot. She was doing great - fully recovered from her broken leg, walking around, hanging out with her bridge club, no illness ... just went to sleep and didn't wake up. I guess it's how we all want to go, but I'm selfish, and I don't want her gone. Ever. Blogging may be abnormally sparse for a while.

My condolences, sweetheart.

I lost my grandma when I was 34 years old, and I have felt a deep hole in my heart ever since. No one can ever replace her I think, not a day goes by that I don't think about her or my grandpa.

Grandparents are truly one of the most joyest blessings we have bestowed on us from birth. I could not have become the person today without mine.

Take comfort in the fact that she has moved to much better "accomodations" and will listen to you all of the time. I know in my heart my grandma is thinking of me as much as I think of her. We were best friends.

*Hugs*. If you need anything I'm only an e-mail away.

I don't know what to say, Stella. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Be strong for her, darlin'.
