Glimpses into the oh-so-exciting life of a 3rd year student at LSU Law School

Kick Booty Weekend!

I went to NOLA this weekend to hang out with friends and go to some parties. Friday, my friend Julia and I hit up the Bridge Lounge, then the Red I, then the Howlin' Wolf, and finally ended up at the Balcony Bar. It was a great circuit! Next time, I think I want to hit up Fat Harry's and Bruno's, too. Maybe do an afternoon at The Boot, and wind up at Monkey Hill, in honor of the beloved and much missed A.T.II's.

Saturday was Surge to Reunite & Rebuild at the Lakeview Harbor. Burgers, jambalaya, and TYPHOONS! A 32 oz. typhoon is $8, but has about $10 worth of liquor - it's got rum, tequila, other stuff, and fruit juices. One will knock you on your ass, and they won't sell ya more than 2. That party was a BLAST!

Sunday, I had lunch with my grandmother, then drove home to Baton Rouge.

Today, I have work and school. w00t?

I had a good weekend too, not quite as frenetic as youirs, dear. I went to the local comedy club and saw a VERY funny lady named Tammy Pescatelli. I laughed so hard my sides were hurting. And on top of that, earlier in the show between acts, Ron White showed up. He was hilarious as well.

Do you have any pics?

Would you like to buy some? Heh.
